Endodontics, or “root canal therapy,” is one of the dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association and is the only type of treatment that we perform. Dr. Hetz accomplishes the impossible: he makes the experience of a root canal pleasant. What convention deems “mission impossible”, Dr. Hetz conquers with decades of arduously honed technical prowess (innate drive to continuously learn, refine, and perfect perfection), but also, a rare genuine interest and concern for the human in his chair. My son required an emergency root canal over a holiday weekend. Dr. Cantamessa came in on a Sunday to assess and perform the procedure. He had been in a lot of pain for several days and immediately felt better after the procedure. Dr. Cantamessa Is technically excellent, very kind, and communicates very well. I could not imagine a better experience.
