MICHAEL J. RIBERA, D.M.D.

Dr. Michael J. Ribera graduated from Boston College in 1984 and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1989. In 1990, he completed a general practice residency at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and in 1992 received his Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science Degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.

Dr. Ribera joined Advanced Endodontic Associates in 1992 and practiced in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over three decades. He was a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a Specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, a member of the Endodontic College of Diplomates, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a member of many local dental societies and study clubs. In 2006 he received the District of Columbia Dental Society’s David Mast Award for his contributions to continuing education.

Dr. Ribera was widely respected across the dental community — in the Washington, D.C. area, across the country and abroad — as much for his teaching as for his clinical work. He spent countless hours helping to educate and mentor dental students and fellow clinicians, and his lectures and leadership have helped to shape a generation of endodontists. He is deeply missed by his colleagues, his patients and his family.
